The Wemax Dice is a solid, robust, and good projector

What the Dice offers in comparison to other projectors is a kind of rugged portability. It's a battery-powered projector, though it can run while plugged into an outlet, and everything about it is meant to make it quick and convenient to use.
The Wemax Dice is readily portable, complete with a carrying strap, but it's also squat and solid enough that you'll never knock it over by accident. It weighs 4.8lbs, which is 0.1lbs more than a 16-inch MacBook Pro.
Point the Wemax Dice at a wall, or a better-kept hedge, and you can watch TV video without anything else other than an internet connection. It comes with YouTube and Amazon Prime built-in, and through the Google Play Store, you can add more.

The Wemax Dice is almost everything I wanted the Wemax Go Advanced to be

Since the Wemax Dice is a regular Android projector I was able to use the Oculus/Meta app to cast a video feed directly from the Quest 2 and project it on my wall. I could then capture both myself and the videogame feed in a single take and share clips of it instantly.
Wemax's Dice is a hair short of perfection, a little extra space around the USB port, a newer Android TV version and a carry case to keep the beautiful but plastic exterior protected during transport would be great additions. Similarly a switch from a barrel jack power supply to USB Type-C would be great for compatibility with portable batteries and aftermarket chargers.

Similar to our top pick in many ways, the Dice is a 1080p LED projector with fully integrated Android TV (no direct Netflix app), the same connection options, and Bluetooth—but it is more than twice as bright. The setup process and onscreen user interface are basically identical in the two projectors.
The Dice is larger than the MoGo Pro but has a longer battery life of three hours in the dimmest Eco mode. The picture quality is a mixed bag: The image is very bright (when the projector is plugged in), has good overall contrast, and looks sharp and detailed.
