What is the fastest way to download new apps on AndroidTV?

AndroidTV and Google Assistant make it super easy to download apps. Here are our two favorite ways:

• Press the APPS button on the remote and select the Get More Apps button to open the Google Play Store.
• Press the Google Assistant button on your remote. Once the voice command is activated, say "Open the Google Play Store". 

What is an AndroidTV Channel?

A Channel is an AndroidTV home screen feature that organizes the feeds of content from the apps on your device. 

For example, the Disney+ app has two channel options that create a feed on your AndroidTV home screen: Recommended For You and Watchlist. This feature allows you to instantly access your favorite content right when you power on the device.

How do I rearrange Channels on my AndroidTV home screen?

From the home screen: 

1. Use the remote to scroll down and hover over the app you want to modify. Be sure not to hit the select button.
2. Move the cursor left once and select the Drop Down Menu icon.
3. Once selected, move the channel up or down to create your order preference.

How do I remove Channels that I don't want on my AndroidTV home screen? 

From the AndroidTV home screen:

1. Use the remote to scroll down and hover over the app you want to remove. Be sure not to hit the select button.
2. Move the cursor left (2) times, then select the Remove icon.

How do I get Channels back that I accidentally removed?

From the AndroidTV home screen:

1. Use the remote to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the home page and select the Customize Channels button.
2. Find the app you want, then select it to place it back in the channel feed of the home screen. 

Can I change the display order of apps in the Apps menu? 

Yes, and it's super simple to do so.

1. Simply press the APPS button on the remote. 
2. Hover over the app and hold the SELECT button for 1-2 seconds.
3. Press Move on the menu and use the cursor to rearrange.
